Copper Ferrules
CLAMP Copper Ferrule. These ferrules or copper crimps are designed to be applied to stainless steel wire rope with our CLAMP hand swaging pliers. Hydraulic swaging using dies that have a cavity matching that of the correct CLAMP plier can also be used for their application where preferred. Our copper ferrules are available in bright finished copper, and copper nickel plated (to give a bright stainless steel matching appearance). Ferrule sizes available: 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 6.4mm, 7.0mm, 8.0mm, 10mm wire rope diameter. See Safety Warning. Smaller qty packs are available for the larger sizes upon request.
For critical applications and especially where human safety is a consideration we strongly recommend that all swaged assemblies be pull tested prior to use to prove their suitability for the intended purpose.
